After being blacklisted by the United States in 2019, Huawei was barred from using important technologies, including Google services and 5G. During this period, the company took various measures to minimize its dependence on foreign technologies, such as introducing the HarmonyOS operating system. Recently, the Chinese manufacturer surprised everyone by unveiling the 5G Mate 60 series. The latest information suggests that the Mate 60 RS Ultimate model will join the series shortly, and even the design and features of the smartphone have been revealed before the launch.
Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate’s design
The design and key features of the Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate model have been revealed ahead of its launch. According to this information, the smartphone will feature an octagonal camera setup, similar to its predecessor, the Mate 50 RS Porsche Design. It will also have a ceramic build.
The smartphone is expected to be a rebranded version of the Pro+ model in the series. Additionally, it is said to be priced at around $1,370. This means it will be powered by the Kirin 9000S processor, offer 16 GB of RAM, up to 1 TB of internal storage, and feature a 6.82-inch OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
